Brian prepares Applications for Permits to Drill (APD), Plans of Development, rights-of-way, easements, and surface use agreements.  He routes roads, pipelines, and power lines, as well as scouting and laying out well and tower sites.  Brian coordinates surveyors, archaeologists, and engineers who contract with Permits West, Inc., and conducts many of our own site inspections.  He provides expert testimony when needed, and writes environmental assessments (EAs) on a variety of projects.

Brian has also published in the Oil and Gas Journal and Western World Oil. He has worked previously at the BLM, US Forest Service, and the Environmental Health Division of the West Virginia Health Department.
